Quality Assurance Auditor Job Opening in Salt Lake City, Utah - PRMI is seeking a qualified candidate with mortgage compliance and credit background to join the ?local? Salt Lake City Quality Assurance Team.
The QA Auditor will work directly with our internal business units and branch partners to perform loan quality audits on pre-close and post-purchase loan files.

Preferred Requirements
At least 2 years of experience with mortgage lending
Ability to analyze and audit Federal and State Compliance Regulations including; TRID, Fair Lending, and state specific disclosures.
Knowledge of the following lending programs: FHA, VA, USDA, Conventional, non-conforming jumbo, HELOCs, and ARMs
Experience with Encompass or other LOS paperless system
Familiar with research systems such as: AllRegs, Investor websites, Lexis Nexis and MERS
Excellent attention to detail and follow-up skills
Must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work accurately within deadlines and prioritize workload
Desire to be a team player with the ability to work between departments to coordinate information and exchange and unify solutions
Experience using Microsoft Office applications
Must be reliable and professional
Responsibilities
Perform mortgage loan audits, in both Pre-Funding, and Post Closing stage while managing to a required turnaround time
Analyze loan documents to ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations
Analyze income, liabilities, assets and red flags behind an underwriter and document errors that are material to the lending decision.
Identify and escalate serious risk issues to management
Proactively share knowledge of specific tools, products and policies with team as well as other business units
Provide standardized management information for summary reports used for trend analysis.
Other audit duties and special projects as assigned.
