Front Desk Supervisor Job Opening in Tucson, Arizona - Tanque Verde Ranch is looking for a Front Desk Supervisor who believes in delivering outstanding guest service and hospitality to every guest.
Duties and Responsibilities of Front Desk Supervisor:
Assist the Training Manager and Front Office Manager in training new employees as well as helping implement new procedures.
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested by
Schedule staff responsibilities for each shift and confirm they are followed.
Coordinate with Housekeeping to ensure rooms availability for daily arrivals.
Actively Manage Front Desk staff to ensure proper procedures an SOPS Occur.
Develop and improve methods to daily operations.
Shared Responsibilities between Front Office Manager and Front Desk Supervisor
Ensure between the Front Desk and other departments in order to provide the highest level of guest service.
Counsel, evaluate and help staff members to reach their highest potential and level of job performance.
Complete the AM or PM manager?s checklist regarding assigned duties as well as any special projects related to improving the Front Office operation.
Review all work done by cashiers and sign off on all allowances and paid-outs.
Oversee the setting up of the house as well as pre-registration of VIP?s.
Be informed on a daily basis on all in-house activities, and groups and ensure that all staff members are also aware of all activities.
Schedule and supervise the Front Desk Staff and offer assistance whenever it is needed.
Responsible for training of all employees in assigned departments
Assist with any guest follow up in a prompt manner.
Understand and implement Guest Recovery practices and procedures as set by the Company and management.
Provide assistance to Accounting department with folio discrepancies, incorrect posting, refunds/credits, or any operational task that is not conducive of standard operating procedures.
Provide assistance to other managers with any situational tasks and requests.
To manage vehicle key box to only allow authorized employee?s access to company vehicles.
Inputting and maintaining employee schedules for assigned departments.
Approving all employee time records for payroll for assigned departments.
Observe and track employee performances from assigned departments.
Perform one-on-one coaching opportunities for employees.
Training, coaching, mentoring agents to promote highest level of job efficiency.
Manage Petty Cash Funds with Accounting Department.
Assist at Front Desk when required/be part of coverage when needed.
Evaluate employee performance and ensure highest level of guest services are provided
Communicate to various departments guest issues, concerns and requests
Answer telephones and assist caller when possible.
Build a team environment that is positive and focused on the daily tasks at hand
Schedule all Front Desk Staff(handle PTO/vacation requests)
Develop a new ranch culture at the Front Desk to drive customer focus mentality. It?s all about the guest.
Ensure that proper Spa procedures are executed by Front Desk staff.
Create, Build and schedule Transportation drivers on Airport Shuttle List.
Candidate must possess at least 2 years prior supervisory experience preferably in Hospitality and must have Customer Service Expereince. This position will be flexible hours including days, nights, holidays and weekends. We offer excellent benefits and free associate meals.
