What You?ll Take Ownership Of:
The Senior Accountant position plays an important role in the financial stability of Acme Tools. This position is responsible for:
Presentation, preparation, and distribution of financial statements
Financial planning and forecasting for our organization
Analyzing, planning, and administering high-level, market-competitive compensation plans
Monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining accounting system accuracy
Assisting in compiling various government and industry reporting
Problem-solving a variety of organization-wide financial matters, including: invoicing problems, inventory accuracy, procurement
Overseeing accounting procedures to ensure compliance with regulations
Handling multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment
Working individually, as well as an integral part of a team to take on new tasks with a high level of difficulty
Staying up-to-date of changes to the financial industry by reading professional publications and seeking out educational opportunities
Performing other related duties as assigned
Need-To-Haves:
A minimum of 4+ years of accounting or financial analysis experience
Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting and valid CPA credentials
Prior ERP systems experience
Exceptional business acumen; analytical, forecasting, reporting, modeling, and organizational skills
Strong Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to manipulate and develop data into workable models and projections, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Ability to keep a high degree of confidentiality of information
Ability to work with a high level of autonomy and support business decision-making
Effective and professional written and verbal communication skills
Must be energetic, motivated, and adaptable to progress-based change
Love-To-Haves:
Proven experience working with a retail or similar business as a staff Accountant
Tool and equipment industry career background
