Responsibilities:
Responsible for evaluation and treatment of patients seeking primary care at the medical practice.
Provides preventive and acute care.
Orders and evaluates laboratory, radiology and other tests as indicated.
Manages and follows-up routine and problem patients; writes prescriptions in accordance with Vermont Law and DEA regulations.
Consults with Physicians and other departments as needed to provide appropriate patient care.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a primary care office setting preferred, but not required.
Current VT Certification as an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner required.
Must be currently licensed to practice with prescriptive authority in the State of Vermont.
DEA required.
CPR required.
