Responsibilities and Role Description:
The Common Services Project Coordinator will report directly to the Common Services Program Manager
The Common Services Project Coordinator supports projects within the Common Services program through coordination of core processes.
Support generally takes the form of consolidating information produced through the project team into organized documentation in the form of project management artifacts (e.g. project charter, WBS, project status report, project management plan components) but may also include supporting other functional areas of the project (e.g. documenting test cases for the Technical lead, routing deliverables for approval/comment, developing presentations in partnership with the business).
Provide assistance with the management of the new time tracking system used by Common Services project resources
After training, assist with general updates within CA Clarity, SoV?s project management application.
Assist with the maintenance of Vermont AHS? SharePoint site for the Common Services projects
Assist in capturing meeting minutes, assisting Common Services Project Managers in scheduling meeting rooms and attendees.
This role entails technical responsibility and independent judgement. The Project Coordinator is expected to interface independently with Common Services project teams and Common Services stakeholders during the coordination of the assigned process.
Must exercise professional judgement in gathering information and capturing decisions. Poise and discretion are expected of candidates for this role given the likelihood of exposure to leadership.
Administration and involvement in the following processes is in scope for this role: Intra-Program risk and issue escalation process, Intra-Program change control process, integrated schedule development and maintenance.

Qualifications:
Emphasis on strong written communication and organizational skills.
Understands basic concepts of project management.
Solves routine problems of limited scope and complexity following established policies and procedures.
Identifies roadblocks and recommends resolution.
1-3 years? experience in project support and/or functional lead roles within a project (BA lead, Tech lead, Finance lead, etc).
MS Office skills (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Projects). CA Clarity knowledgeable. Proficient with computers; desire and ability to learn PM applications and tools.
