Jr Program Manager Job Opening in Alexandria, Virginia - One Federal Solution is a SBA Certified 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) whose primary mission is to provide the Federal government with outstanding services in the areas of Program Management, Information Technology, Enterprise Management, Healthcare Administration, and Testing & Evaluation. We are currently looking for a Junior Program Manager or Analyst with experience overseeing and familiar with HSPD-12 processes to support our customers and employees throughout the country. This is an entry to mid level position.
Summary/Objective
This Junior Project Manager is responsible for overseeing day to day operations of a team providing contract support to the government on programs supporting HSPD12 badge issuance and credentialing. Responsible for the overall success and mitigating any risk associated with the management of the programs.
Job Duties
Directs program activities to meet client and organization work objectives and serve as a liaison with clients to coordinate activities, negotiate tasks, and solve problems. Knowledgeable of all areas of the contract required to support the client and headquarters operations.
Manage customer expectations and maintain constant contact with the customer base at several levels to solicit feedback, resolve issues, and ultimately achieve customer satisfaction through proactive communications, understanding the client needs and successful completion of the work product.
Attend standing monthly client meetings and meetings as needed. Complete monthly report timely.
Work with Personnel Analysts to ensure their stations are operating efficiently. Work with other government entities and departments to resolve operating issues.
Manage staff hours, vacation, unscheduled absences, and adjusts government electronic scheduling to reflect such. Close stations and contact clients who were scheduled for credentialing and badging to reschedule as needed.
Project supports all time zones; consequently may receive calls from 6am ? 8pm, although core hours of operation tend to be 7am ? 4pm.
Monitor workflow and production of personnel electronically and provide techniques, additional training, improve efficiently as required.
Management of staff includes annual performance reviews and quarterly reviews of productivity. Hire and train staff; responsible for retention and efficiency of personnel, maintain staffing levels above 90% at all times.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Member of corporate staff and also responsible for corporate growth. Contributes to team effort by assisting in proposal efforts, analysis of potential work, providing strategy for potential work, etc.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position manages all employees on a major client program and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within the program.
Required Education, Experience and Skills
Bachelor Degree with (2) two years management experience, preferably in a government contracting position. Education can be substituted with 5 years of experience.
Must have demonstrated experience and knowledge of HSPD 12, badge issuance and credentialing.
Must have prior experience managing a staff.
Must possess a Tier 3 Security Clearance and be able to secure a Secret clearance.
Work Environment
This job operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment (e.g. computers, fax machine).
Physical Demands
Requires the ability to lift and carry up a laptop and office papers for short distances, stoop, bend, kneel, walk, have manual dexterity to operate some machinery, and correctable vision.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position generally Monday through Friday, generally providing coverage between 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Travel
Minimal travel is expected for this position.
Work Clearance
Must be able to obtain the level of Industrial Security Clearance required by the Government.
