Business Systems Analyst Job Opening in Bloomfield, Connecticut - This is a Contract to Hire Opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst with our company that MUST be worked on a W2 ONLY . Duties:
Working with project leadership to formulate and define system scope and objectives based on user defined needs.
Collaborate with business and QA partners to review documented business requirements and create business scenarios and correlated user stories that properly reflect the needs of the customer and meet the expectations of our business partners.
Work with IT application technical teams to develop appropriate technical requirements that result in the appropriate solutions for the customer.
Provide expert technical guidance to peers, IT leadership and other departments regarding business process design and improvement and the use of enterprise applications.
Scope and Dimensions:
Reports to the SA/BA Manager responsible for Content Management -Comfortable negotiating and presenting to IT and business personnel.
Skills:
Experience with reviewing business requirements, system functional requirements, and developing systems specifications.
Working knowledge of all phases of the Software
Development Life Cycle (DSL).
Strong knowledge of Systems Analyst responsibilities and processes.
Knowledge of / experience with QA processes and testing requirements.
Some knowledge of midrange and mainframe systems, relational database concepts and functionality.
Prior experience with content management systems is preferred.
Education:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and at least six years of experience as Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Developer, or related field required.
