Maintenance Engineer Job Opening in Kansas City, Missouri - You will assume the duties that are generally associated with the maintenance engineer. These duties include, but will not be limited to the following:
Plan, organize, direct and supervise physical operation of Landmark property in Kansas City, MO.
Manage maintenance staff.
Maintain, service, repair all building mechanical systems.
Ensure day-to-day optimal functioning of all mechanicals by performing or contracting for preventative maintenance.
Conduct safety inspections of all emergency equipment and lighting.
Develop manage and build vendor contracts relating to building systems.
Coordinate and follow-up on all building work orders to ensure timely completion.
Work with property manager to create and adhere to annual budgets.
Other duties as required by Landmark.
Education: High School Diploma
Experience: 2-5 years experience
Skills & Knowledge: The ideal candidate will have at least two (2) years of experience and a trade school education. A second-class C boilers license and CFC certification would be helpful but not required. Computer skills a plus: Building Automation Systems and Energy Management Systems (EMS). Experience in Word, Excel, and MS Outlook are ideal but not necessary
