Staff Accountants Job Opening in Rockville, Maryland - E. Cohen and Company, CPAs is a full-service CPA firm based in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area providing Tax Compliance & Consulting, Audit & Assurance, Business Advisory Services, and Business Technology Services since 1991.
Our clients include Real estate, Government contractors, Nonprofit organizations, Professional services firms, High Net Worth Individuals and Other industries.
We are currently seeking to hire a Tax and Audit Staff and Senior Accountants.
The successful candidates will meet all of the following essential qualifications. Please do not apply if you do not have these prerequisites. Successful candidates will have an entrepreneurial spirit, strong technical and management skills, in addition to:
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Current CPA license or eligible
One to five years of recent experience in a mid to large sized public accounting firm
Proficiency in the use of computers and applicable technology, preferably Pfx Tax and Engagement
Competency in technical skills
Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
