Licensed Insurance Sales Representative Job Opening in Hattiesburg, Mississippi - MUST HAVE A LICENSE TO SELL INSURANCE.
Job Summary: Serves as the primary contact point for questions about or applications for Medicare Select Supplemental Insurance or other insurance products available through the Insurance Operations Department. Assists the Director of Insurance Operations as necessary. Reports to the Director of Insurance Operations. Demonstrates knowledge and skills to appropriately communicate and interact with the patients, families, and visitors of all age groups while being sensitive to their cultural and religious beliefs.
Performance Expectations:
Demonstrates technical aptitude necessary to utilize the computer as necessary to fulfill requirements of job.
Demonstrates aptitude to understand Insurance products and ability to explain products to potential customers.
Demonstrates aptitude to sell Insurance products and submit applications to appropriate carriers.
Demonstrates aptitude to present Informational Seminars to prospective customers.
Education/Skills: Bachelor degree in business or a related field preferred. Prior insurance sales experience required.
Work Experience: Previous experience in dealing with the general public is required. Previous experience in the healthcare field is preferred.
: Current license to sell Life and Accident/Health Insurance in the state of Mississippi required.
