The Night Auditor is responsible for providing attentive, courteous and efficient service to all guests during check-in and at checkout, while maximizing room revenue and occupancy.
Shifts Available- 11 pm to 7 AM, Weekends Required
Part time
Must work every Weekend and some Holidays, if necessary.
Accounting Degree a plus! Must have at least one year experience as a hotel Night Auditor.
Physical requirements:
* Flexible and long hours sometimes required. * Light work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. * Ability to stand during shift.
* Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner. * Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests. * Must be able to multitask and prioritize job assignments to meet deadlines. * Must be effective in handling issues, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
Reconcile & make sure that AX, VS, MC credit cards balances / reconciles to Room master daily. Input all figures into Excel spreadsheet &quick books, verify bank deposits (Cash /checks) Daily reports, city ledger, guest ledger, advance deposit reports.(All categories need balanced daily)
Perform all duties not assigned and requested by the General Manager & Operations Manager.
