Aerospace Assembler Job Opening in Forest Park, Georgia - The Aerospace Assembler is responsible for the assembly and production of product throughout multiple phases of production process. The primary responsibilities of this position include preparation, production and verification of products that are created by means of winding and curing. The successful candidate will have manufacturing or industrial experience, preferable in aerospace, working with production equipment and proven mechanical ability.

Reports to Production Team Lead

Consistently and safely produce product at or above standard levels of operation including waste, quality, efficiency and utilization.
Troubleshoot identify and correct any production related challenges throughout the entire production process.
Provide innovative solutions for production issues. Provides support and guidance to less experienced personnel.
Complete appropriate end of shift paperwork, accounting for crewing time, machine time and production quantities.
Able to inspect and recognize defective product and make machine adjustments to correct cause of defects.
Observe all housekeeping, standard work and safety guidelines
Some general warehouse duties including operating a sit down forklift and receiving parts

Working hours: 7 am to 3 pm

Production and assembly experience within the aerospace industry is preferred
Knowledge of aerospace traceability and standards
Mechanical aptitude, demonstrates problem solving skills and effective communication skills, written and verbal and required.
Aerospace production experience preferred.
Previous assembly experience is REQUIRED
