Senior Accountant Job Opening in Little Rock, Arkansas - This position is primarily responsible for compilation and maintenance of managed property financial data.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Accurate and timely reconciliation of bank statements for all managed properties
Monthly reconciliation of general ledger accounts including accounts receivable, accounts payable, security conflicting and inadequate information; resolve issues before processing information, communicate with supervisor and/or other departments to resolve outstanding issues in a timely manner
Accurately calculate and process monthly management fees
Responsible for accurate and timely filing of monthly sales tax reports for company and managed properties
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies
Protect operations by keeping financial and operational information and plans confidential
Assist Controller and accountants as needed
Performs other duties as assigned by Controller
Skills and Abilities:
Thorough understanding of GAAP accounting
Must be able to understand accrual and cash basis accounting processes
Excellent judgment and discretion: ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously, meet deadlines, and handle work-related stress is required
Attention to detail and highly organized.

Remain calm and professional in stressful situations
Detail oriented while maintaining an extremely professional attitude

Required Experience and Education: Bachelor's Degree in accounting with at least two years of experience in accounting profession or an Associate's Degree in accounting with at least four years of experience in accounting profession
