Job Description:
The Regional Sales representative is responsible for developing sales growth, profitability and market share gains in the assigned area in the Northeast of the US and Quebec / Montreal territory of Canada. Manages the assigned accounts whilst prospecting new large potential accounts. You shall attend meetings, sales events, and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developments.
Qualifications:
Available to travel 60% of the time, which may require international travel to corporate office in Germany.
Live in Northeast USA.
Skilled in communicating effectively with all company levels.
Excellent negotiation, financial & business acumen skills.
Problem solving and continuous improvement skills.
Entrepreneur breaking through barriers.
Ability to work independently and be a team player at the same time.
Strong communication, customer relation and interpersonal skills.
Strong product knowledge to application & customer requirements.
Good time management skills.
Able to work independently with little supervision.
Languages: English / French as a second language is preferred.
Responsibilities:
To Increase profitable sales of the product portfolio, aligned to given targets for both turnover and margin at the assigned accounts.
Be the key contact for the assigned customers. Identify key decision makers at the customers & build strong relationships throughout all levels of the organization.
Visits all assigned customers in a regular cycle according to company guidelines based on sales value, potential & strategic importance.
Provide a monthly sales forecast for the assigned area.
Visit prospects with high potential, qualify, and convert these to buying accounts
Build a strong pipeline of opportunities.
Negotiate pricing with accounts & prospects, ensures proper follow up with documentation via Customer Service.
Maintain sales programs in his territory by keeping customers informed about available services, prices and new products.
Participate in local or international exhibitions.
Experience & Education:
- BA/BS degree in business or equivalent
- 3-5 years sales experience, preferably experience in B2B technical selling.
