Project Coordinator Job Opening in Glen Allen, Virginia - AllyAlign Health () is expanding our presence across multiple states. As a result we will be executing several implementation projects over the next 24 months in addition to operating current projects in 7 markets. We are seeking a person that can play the primary role of Project Coordinator for these implementations and support business and system operations.
As a Project Coordinator (PC) the person is responsible for the task coordination and facilitation of projects in the company. The PC will be planning project activities working with a diverse team of clinical, business, and system resources. The PC oversees the scope of the project, creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. The PC manages project performance of resources and oversees tasks to ensure that project timelines and deliverables are met. As task manager, the PC ensures that tasks/plans are in place and executing to completion, record-keeping of action items and issues lists, facilitation of status meetings, etc. The PC also prepares project reports and deliverables and coordinates with the business/program, executive, and other appropriate leadership.
Essential Responsibilities
Works with leadership to scope out concise project work plan.
Accomplishes project objectives via the creation and tracking of complex project plans.
Coordinates the activities of cross-functional team members. Coordinates activities of designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of the project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.
Tracks the creation, quality and delivery of project deliverables through completion. Oversees and tracks work activity progress, project costs, and scheduled completion throughout the course of project.
Monitors progress of the project and makes adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion of the project.
Evaluates time availability and skill competency of assigned resources to ensure that all project objectives are met in a timely fashion; escalates to Project Sponsor/Executive as needed
Creates meeting agenda, notes and action item follow-ups.
Reviews the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards.
Makes recommendations for future project phases or future projects, based on lessons learned from the project.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Bachelor?s Degree
Proficiency in computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite products, especially Microsoft Excel, preferably including Microsoft Project
3+ years of demonstrated successful experience in the healthcare industry
Professional demeanor and highest level of commitment.
Personally driven and able to work in a fluid environment with general direction
Strong interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to work independently as well as with a team
Ability to energize, develop, and build rapport at all levels within an organization
Proven customer (internal and external) acumen and relationship building skills in a healthcare environment
Willingness to travel with occasional overnight stays depending on business needs
Strong written and verbal communication and clear thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex issues into simple messages
Knowledge of Healthcare industry and market place trends, specifically related to managed Medicare, managed Medicaid, dual eligible members and insurance products
Demonstrated successful experience tracking projects implementing both systems and processes
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $55,000.00 to $65,000.00 /year
