Inside Sales Rep Job Opening in Metairie, Louisiana - Our IT Consulting firm is searching for an Inside Sales Representative to increase the pipeline for our Outside Sales Team. ISRs work closely with Outside Sales to expand and accelerate company presence in new accounts. ISRs perform prospecting activities to set qualified face-to-face appointments for Outside Sales. It is expected that ISRs understand company markets and solutions to properly engage, qualify, and accelerate prospects.
Responsibilities?
Follow sales process and continue sales training education.
Achieve quotas for number of qualified meetings per month with C-level decision makers in target accounts.
Work closely with Outside Sales to develop and conduct proactive outbound calling strategies to penetrate target accounts.
Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections in order to secure qualified meetings.
Manage a lead prospecting pipeline and maintain accurate information about suspects, prospects, and their companies.
Participate in weekly sales meeting.
Work with other members of the company organization to ensure overall company success.
Requirements?
2+ years experience as ISR (sales development rep / business development rep) or inside sales.
Located in the New Orleans Area. Must be results driven, structured and also data-oriented.
Self-motivated with ability to work effectively in a highly process driven sales environment.
Proven ability to execute outbound prospecting strategies including: Opportunity qualification and objection handling, call structure and control.
Great communication skills (positive and energetic on the phone, excellent listening skills, strong writing skills, team player).
Proficient with standard corporate productivity tools (email, voicemail, Microsoft Office).
