Cable Technician Job Opening in Phoenix, Arizona - As a Cable Technician for Copper State Communications, you will be responsible for installing network infrastructure at our customer?s location in a timely and effective manner. This will involve working from ladders and in tight spaces, and pulling cable through walls and ceilings, and building out Telecommunication Rooms. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing network infrastructures.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Must be a team player and have good communication skills, oral and written, to be able to communicate with management daily to insure that the all requirements are met
Compliance with BICSI standards, local fire codes, safety ordinances, National Electrical Codes, etc.
Proficient in terminating and testing copper and fiber.
Understanding of building blue prints and floor plan schematics
Demonstrated understanding of termination and testing of copper cabling on patch panels and 110 blocks
Perform other duties as required
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old
Valid Arizona driver?s license with a clean driving record
Be able to deliver high quality craftsmanship
Pass a criminal background check
Must be willing to travel out of town periodically
Organized, punctual and motivated self-starter
The successful candidate will be able to represent Copper State Communications to its customers in a mature, professional manner. Candidates must have a strong work ethic, be dependable, and have reliable transportation to and from the office.
Salary is dependent on experience.
