Managing Director, Giving Hearts Day Job Opening in Fargo, North dakota - Dakota Medical Foundation (DMF) is seeking an exceptionally hard working, strategic, and mission-driven leader to build on the success of Giving Hearts Day. This role requires a proven leader who can manage people and projects within a complex environment.
The purpose of this role is to provide a ?continually innovating? fundraising platform that equips charities to generate substantial resources to produce exceptional results for the people they serve. This role will be very challenging and rewarding for the right person. It requires excellent strategy, relationship, and project management abilities.
The person in this role must manage complexity and be able to boldly innovate, improve systems, procedures, technology, and structure and help participants use them to succeed. The person in this role will encourage and facilitate high levels of collaboration and innovation to continue to grow the platform so charities can fuel their missions.
FUNDAMENTAL OUTCOMES OF THE MANAGING DIRECTOR
High rates of participating charity donor retention on GHD.
Substantial increases in new donors giving to charities through the GHD effort.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES TO ACHIEVE SUCCESS
Brand Ambassador - Be a high-energy, charismatic, light-up-the-room presence to further enhance the positive reputation and brand of Giving Hearts Day through public relations, speaking engagements, and proactive with key stakeholders, partners, and target audiences.
10x Strategy- Leveraging an mindset, create a compelling vision and a comprehensive, clear, and courageous strategy to grow Giving Hearts Day in its potential to help nonprofits expand their donor base and results.
Operational Effectiveness - Efficiently and effectively execute a detailed and actionable operations plan to crush the goals laid out in the strategy.
Systems Optimization- Collaborate with external experts to design, implement, and continuously improve key systems and procedures to seamlessly manage application criteria, participants, boosts, and business intelligence (data).
Innovation Culture- Create a laboratory of bold thinking and experimentation to ensure an innovation culture and process is instilled and embraced in all GHD activities.
Marketing and Communications Engagement- Lead and engage internal and external experts in the creation and execution of a world class marketing and communications strategy to dramatically increase public engagement with the brand resulting in donor retention and growth for charities on Giving Hearts Day.
Event Planning- Brilliantly stage and market the GHD event for volunteer and staff team, donors, charities and business partners.
Team and Partner Leadership -Effectively recruit, engage, and orchestrate the efforts of a diverse team of staff members, external consultants, and key partners.

Bachelor?s degree is required. Masters or advanced degree from an accredited college or university is preferred, but not required.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION
Minimum of bachelor?s degree preferred.
Eight years of highly successful experience in innovatively managing programs and/or complex projects.
Outstanding professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work professionally and collaboratively with a variety of individuals and groups.
Possess strong customer service skills.
Possess proficient use of computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite.
Exceptional attention to detail, organization, problem-solving and time management skills.
Requires willingness and love of working with a higher purpose and a flexible schedule at times.
