Senior Account Executive/Account Supervisor Job Opening in new york, New York - Senior Account Executive/Account Supervisor Are you a great media relations pro with strong media relations, writing and social media skills? Dynamic corporate public relations firm in need of proven, top-flight media relations and social media specialist, writer and client manager with a minimum of 5-7 years experience for full-time position. Must have proven track record of media placement success with portfolio of top-tier hits to show for it. Candidate must be fearless on the phones, have a full rolodex of press contacts and demonstrate an ability to penetrate a diminishing press corps and get coverage on a regular basis. Candidate must also have the ability to immediately take over the day-to-day management of several client accounts. Responsibilities will include interfacing with clients on a daily basis, performing all activities related to the account, being consistently pro-active and creative, and generating the results to keep the client happy. Strong writing and researching skills are essential as well. Candidate must also possess a comprehensive understanding of social media and its functionalities, including how to develop and implement a social media program as part of a larger public relations campaign. This should at a minimum include a mastery of Facebook, Twitter, blogging and other social network utilities and a keen understanding of how our clients can benefit from social media networks.
