Sales Representative - West Coast Job Opening in Tampa, Florida - Role and Responsibilities
The Sales Representative will report to the Southeast Regional Sales Manager and will be responsible for creating Seakeeper refit sales growth. The Sales Representative will be based on the West Coast of Florida, and will concentrate on the expansion of Seakeeper?s refit sales efforts in the Gulf states and West Coast of Florida.
The Sales Representative will be responsible for the following activities within the region:
Sales support of new and existing CSIC refit partners
Solicit marinas with local and transient vessels to create brand awareness and boost refit project potential
Solicit dealerships and brokerages to broaden the understanding of refit possibilities
Actively recruit and develop sub dealers within network. (Refit installers)
Manage boat shows in defined territory
Organize sea trials and demo events in region
Meet quarterly and yearly growth targets
Qualifications and Requirements
Ideal candidates would have 2-5 years related sales experience in the marine industry. The candidate must have a valid passport and be available for both domestic and international travel. Must be self-motivated, organized and have superior customer service skills. Superior time management skills, multitasking skills, closing skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision are essential. Must have strong verbal skills and the ability to communicate professionally. Strong command of Microsoft Office products, interpersonal skills, team player, and detail oriented. Excellent writing skills including proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation are required. Qualified applicant must be professional, responsive, resourceful, flexible, well organized, and maintain a positive work attitude. Must be able to work independently, maintain filing systems and basic databases, gather and analyze information skillfully, and have the ability to make sound, timely, and accurate judgment while supporting reasoning for decisions
