Outside Sales Representative Job Opening in Colorado Springs, Colorado - We at Mountain Star Salon Services are pleased to announce a full-time opening for a sales representative in our Colorado Springs market.
Mountain Star Salon Services is a division of the largest independent beauty distributor in the U.S. We provide quality hair care products, education and support to salon partners. Mountain Star is seeking talented, dynamic and motivated outside sales professionals to join our team in the Colorado Springs market area. Reporting directly to the company president, in this position you will independently prospect, develop and nurture relationships with salons, coordinate with customer service to ensure customer satisfaction, negotiate and close new doors to meet sales goals; while contributing and implementing company market plans to continually increase our customer base.
Primary Accountabilities:
Visiting salons in the Monument Hill, CO to Pueblo, CO
Within your assigned territory develop new sales by prospecting and pursuing new business. Increase customer base. Follow up on sales leads.
Manage a growing existing customer base, meeting and exceeding monthly sales goals
Champion a positive, professional image of Mountain Star to create a lasting, mutually beneficial relationship with customers that fosters referrals and repeat business.
Effectively communicate product knowledge to help customers understand the value and performance of the products.
Develop and execute a monthly sales plan to expand business with existing and new customers
Requirements:
Business to Business sales experience preferred.(minimum 3 years)
Some college or equivalent in experience & education.
Excellent verbal communication skills including the ability to build relationships with customers.
Entrepreneurial attitude. This is a very independent position, so you must be self- motivated, confident and dedicated to working flexible hours to accommodate customers? schedules.
Your driving record must meet minimum standards no DUI?s in the past 3 years; no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years).
