We are a retail and service business that specializes in Apple?s Macintosh, iPad and iPod product lines. Locally owned and operated for 13 years, with stores in San Luis Obispo, CA and Colorado Springs, CO. As an Apple Specialist, we have emerged as one of the nation?s leading providers of Apple products and services. In July, MacSuperstore is expanding to an all new location and looking to grow the team. JOB SUMMARY The Service Technician provides quality service and repair for a broad range of Mac products and printers. As a member of the Service team the Service Tech effectively serves our customers both internal and external. REQUIREMENTS education of at least 2 years. knowledge of Macintosh computers and relevant Apple service certifications. license and ability to drive to off-site clients on occasion. to read, analyze and interpret technical documentation and follow procedures. to troubleshoot and solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. to effectively organize workflow and materials. business judgment and decision-making ability. to communicate clearly and comfortably on the phone, e-mail, and in person. interpersonal skills for relating effectively with customers. to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple ongoing projects ? balancing speed, accuracy and profitability. attention to detail. knowledge of OS 9 and X and a thorough knowledge of the Apple product line. DUTIES AND TASKS and repair all types of hardware issues on a wide variety of Macs. and solve software issues including OS and program installs. as a team to meet production and profitability goals. with customers to ensure quality customer service. with service partners such as Apple and Xerox for billing, parts and advance support. closely with the Sales Department to meet their needs and those of the customer. tech support phone calls. parts and order as necessary. COMPENSATION Hourly pay $9-$12 per hour based on experience. Profit sharing based on sales. Product discounts. Performance based rewards.
