Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
Understand US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and apply those pronouncements to our industry and company situations
Prepare annual operating budget/forecast on line item basis as well as budget updates when requested by region/corporate
Analyze all cash flow of the division and communicate with other departments regarding accounting activities
Maintain the general ledger and review accounts with corporate accounting
Responsible for the input of cash receipts and journal entries into JDE
Interact with senior management and regional accounting staff to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses, reports, and recommendations.
Update the Business Plan and budgets to ensure the needs of the company are being met
Responsible for all day to day accounting activities including month end close and balance sheet reconciliations
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university (preferably in Accounting or Finance) ; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Accounting Systems. (JDE Experience a plus)
Knowledge of accounting systems
