Staff Accountant/CPA Job Opening in Troy, Michigan - Our growing Troy, MI CPA firm seeks a dynamic, motivated, self-starting individual to join our experienced team of professional staff members. Our current staff of ten professionals (all of which are CPAs) has over three hundred years of industry experience, providing our ideal candidate with an excellent team environment in which to work and grow. Our clients range from individuals and business start-ups to clients in excess of $100 million in annual gross revenue, providing a wide variety of clients to service.

The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
Have 5-10 years of prior local and/or regional CPA firm experience.
Currently possess a CPA license in good standing. Additional accreditation is also a plus (CFE, CFF, ABV, CVA, etc.).
Have experience with both tax (individuals, corporations, partnerships, estates and trusts, and non-profits) and accounting and financial statements engagements (compilations, reviews, and audits). Quickbooks experience is required. Business valuation, forensic accounting, litigation support and consulting experience is a plus. Experience as the "in-charge" or manager on engagements is also preferred but not required.
Possess excellent analytical abilities, attention to detail, good written and oral communication skills, strong deadline management skills and the ability to work within a budget, as a member of a team and also independently to complete the tasks assigned.
Possess strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Knowledge of Prosystem Fx Tax and Prosystem Fx Engagement is a preferred, but not required.
Be able to manage workflow and work in a paperless environment.
Compensation is commensurate with experience and abilities but ranges from $65,000 to $85,000. The firm offers a full suite of benefits including health insurance, group life and disability, optional dental and optical insurance, a health savings account, 401(k) with employer match, paid CPE, a new business commission program and flex-time hours based on 2,080 hours annually.
