The Isle Casino Hotel is seeking an Internal Auditor to join the team!
The Internal Auditor examines records of the Company to ensure proper recording of transactions and compliance with applicable laws. Reviews internal control systems and processes to determine their effectiveness and protective value. Analyzes data obtained for evidence of deficiencies in controls, duplication of effort, fraud, or lack of compliance with management's established policies or procedures. Prepares oral and written reports of findings and recommendations. Performs other duties as assigned.
The Internal Auditor has the ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures. The ability to perform assigned duties in an interruptive office. The ability to maintain mental concentration for significant periods of time. Periodically works nights or weekends to perform assigned duties. Occasional travel between properties by car or plane, including some weekend stays.
Qualifications:
Four-year college degree in Accounting or a related business degree required. Internal audit, accounting, and/or gamin experience preferred. CPA and/or CIA certification desirable. Must have the ability to perform under frequent time constraints and the flexibility to adapt work hours to the area being audited. Self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid support gaming license.
