Software Architect Job Opening in Arlington, Virginia - BluVector is seeking a Cloud Software Architect with significant experience in designing and delivering Will be responsible for:
Leading system and software architecture design and implementation decisions
Developing feature roadmaps and assisting in the Agile development of a solution
Communicating architecture design decisions and impacts to key stakeholders
Implementing software including unit, component and system tests
Required:
7+ years? experience in development on/for Linux distributions.
7+ years? Java or Python development
Experience developing and deploying (SaaS) applications within popular public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) and using tools such as Git, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Docker
Building internal and external APIs
Thorough understanding and experience with protocols such as REST and SOAP
Understanding of pricing models and their relationship to system operating costs
BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
Candidate must have some demonstrated experience or interest in cybersecurity.
Preferred:
Masters in Computer Science or Software Engineering
Demonstrated knowledge of scripting languages (e.g . bash, perl)
Demonstrated knowledge network protocols

Salary: $120,000.00 to $140,000.00 /year
