Inside Sales Representative - Base Salary Plus Commission.
We are seeking an experienced Inside Sales Professional. Will prospect and close business with companies in the national chain, architectural and construction / building communities followed by creating long term relationships with those customers. You will prospect and sell via phone from our office in Tampa, You will contacting national retail and restaurant chains, architects, designers, general contractors, and subcontractors throughout the US. Experience selling into architects, national chains and general contractors a plus but not required.
Our current national account customers include companies like Chipotle, Wendy's, Ann Taylor, Forever 21, and Justice just to name a few and are representative of the types of chains you will be selling into. This is an outstanding opportunity for a professional with successful inside sales experience.
Will work out of our home office in Oldsmar with very limited travel, if any. If you choose to travel, you can expect to travel throughout the US approximately three to four times a year. Please note that travel is not required.
Position Responsibilities and Requirements
Sell via inside sales and account management
Proven ability to prospect, sell and create long term customers
Establish, build and maintain relationships with national chains, architects, designers and general contractors that lead to sales
Develop sales proposals, presentations and quotes for customers
Collaborate with marketing and sales team on marketing strategies
Maintain up to date understanding of industry trends, products and technical information
Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue from key accounts and create new opportunities
Provide ongoing account services including project management, request fulfillment, and general client communications as required
Experience / Knowledge / Education
2+ years of successful inside sales or outside sales and successful closing experience
Ability to quickly establish personal relationships with potential and existing clients
Excellent organizational and interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Excellent computer skills
Excellent inside sales, account manager and relationship manager experience
Experience with architectural products and blueprints a plus but not required
Architectural Representative experience a plus but not required
Must be able to close!
