Position Abstract: Beauty Sales Representative in Retail Space for Plastic Surgery Practice in Harlem, New York. This individual will be in charge of sales for surgical recovery supplies, shape wear and surgical garments as well as medical skin care products.
Background : Allure Clinic is a cosmetic surgery franchise based in NYC with locations currently in Brooklyn and Manhattan. Our most common and popular procedures include Liposuction, Brazilian Butt Lift, Breast Augmentation among others. We are currently expanding our business to an additional location which will be based in Harlem. Since the beginning of the practice, we have also decided to launch a surgical recovery supply brand called Allure Shops. You can find additional information regarding this department by visiting: . This aspect of our business is involved in selling popular recovery products as well as our own line of curated recovery kits and vitamins, known as BellaVie. In light of the intended expansion to Harlem, we will be formally creating a small retail space for Allure Shops, for which we are looking to hire a Beauty Sales Representative.
The main responsibilities of an employee in this position are to help customers find the products that meet their needs and sell customers as many products as possible. Job duties involve suggesting products, explaining how products work, demonstrating how to use products, performing fittings of certain items, and operating the cash individual may have to meet sales goals, build customer relations through follow-up calls and mailings, recruit new customers, order new products and managing inventory. Further responsibilities may also involve stocking shelves, cleaning the workspace, and organizing sales areas.
Requirements of the Beauty Sales Representative:
B2B (business to business), business development, account management, territory sales, lead management, or outside sales experience with a proven track record, ideally with experience in the medical and/or beauty industries.
Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Applicants with bachelor degrees are preferred.
Excellent time management, interpersonal and communications skills (oral and written)
Proven track record in developing strong client relationships
Results and target oriented
Prepared to work with an inventory management and point-of-sale system
Excellent organization and time management skills
Intermediate user of the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Proficiency and capacity to use point-of-sale system comparable to Quickbooks.
Ability to work alone or in a team environment as needed.
Energetic and passionate
