CDLA Delivery Driver Job Opening in Conway, Arkansas - CDL A EXPERIENCED DELIVERY DRIVER
Job Profile:
Provide excellent customer service by making prompt and courteous deliveries of customer orders. Make pick-ups as necessary. Performs all job responsibilities in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
Maintain an accredited driving record and certified class drivers? license. Able to work with company software and scanning tools and system.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Transport and deliver a variety of supplies and materials to customer locations.
Unload customer product at each location effectively and efficiently while observing safe work practices.
Conduct daily safety inspections of delivery truck and trailer before the start of shift or departure for warehouse.
Obtain and review all customer order documents prior to departing from warehouse.
Must have appropriate uniform and comply with company grooming policy.
Ensure that company equipment, two-wheel dolly, straps, material bar, totes, computer equipment in good condition and working order.
Interact with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
Drive company vehicle (Truck) safely following and obeying all traffic laws.
Follow safe lifting and maneuvering practices.
Obtain any and all daily cash receipt transactions by customers and turn into the accounting department as directed.

Should be bodily fit and have the ability to lift weighty goods and materials.
Should have the ability to conduct all assigned works and tasks competently.
Should be a team player and work with associates.
Should be familiar with all the safety rules of the warehouse and possesses the ability to operate warehouse machinery and or equipment.
Must be able to read and count accurately, do simple math, and write legibly.
Capable of standing and walking for extended periods of time.
The ability to follow directions is extremely important Education & Qualifications:

High school degree, GED certification or corresponding prerequisite from a certified college.
A valid qualifications and permit for operating warehouse machinery and other such tools.
Successful completion and license certification in the state of warehouse location.
In completion with the company J.J. Keller Encompass Program.
Willingly to continuing general training as it applies to delivery truck driver qualification and job Benefits Include:

After Jonesboro, the Douglas Companies, Inc. acquired a few small in-state distributors before making its largest acquisition of a company based out of the Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma market in 2014. Today, Douglas Companies distributes from two regional distribution centers located in Conway, AR and Carthage, MO.
