Medical Facilities Supervisor Job Opening in Rocky Mount, North carolina - Trains, organizes and supervises Maintenance Mechanics engaged in the general and specialized maintenance of the general equipment and buildings. A working supervisor may assist in assuring projects are completed in a timely manner. Manages the day to day operations of the Plant Services department General Maintenance Mechanics. Coordinates materials, supplies and personnel, and contractors to complete projects as needed. Responsible for the CMMS software system including work request assignments, tracking and updating the system a new equipment comes online. Assures PM's are completed by the General Maintenance staff per TJC requirements. works closely with the MEP mechanics.
Advanced skills in general maintenance of healthcare buildings and general equipment. Requires basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, boiler and energy control systems, and in the use of manual and power tools. Ability to read and interpret code specifications, construction documents, diagrams, sketches and operation manuals. Incumbent must demonstrate an ability to apply age-appropriate principles of communication during interaction with others. Incumbent must demonstrate competence per the position?s Skills Checklist before being allowed to perform independently.
Preferred Experience:
Working knowledge of NFPA, DHSR, TJC, OSHA, minor construction projects in healthcare setting. Experience managing general maintenance workers in a healthcare setting. Experience using and maintaining a CMMS.
