Outside Sales Representative Job Opening in Cranston, Rhode island - Our Company is located in Cranston, Rhode Island and is a Wholesale/Retail operation with 27 retail stores throughout New England. We are looking for a capable Outside Sales Representative to help round out our Sales team. Some of the responsibilities will encompass our new line of exclusive lingerie, bath & body, and essentials products. This candidate will be selling directly to store chains, c-stores, and distributors throughout the U.S.
It is important for this candidate to interact with Staff (at all levels) in a business environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role. Expert level written and verbal communication skills, strong decision making ability and attention to detail are equally important.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement annual Sales plan for assigned regions and territories, projecting sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
Cultivate and maintain effective business relationships with decision makers.
Pursue identified business prospects.
Become knowledgeable with customer?s businesses, including but not limited to short and long term goals, local competition, customer base and staffing
Distribute marketing materials to promote sales
Execute pricing and decision making
Attend and participate in tradeshows and weekly sales meetings as needed
Qualifications:
4+ years of professional experience with background in sales, services administration or customer service including strong willingness to learn about evolving customer needs and desires.
Must have experience with Retail Chain account sales.
Must have experience with C-Store/Distributor account sales.
Strong organization skills, ability to work in team oriented, fast-paced environment.
Detail oriented with ability to multitask while giving equal attention to a variety of requests.
Must have strong leadership and communication skills, both written and oral.
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Working knowledge of Customer Relationship Management tools.
Bachelor degree and/or equivalent experience.
