Security Solutions Division Sales Representative Job Opening in Williston, Vermont - Foster our excellent reputation to generate sales opportunities to attract new customers. Expected to develop dynamic relationships to attain sales goals in his/her assigned markets and will be the primary liaison between the Company and the assigned accounts. The position shall require continuing education minimums to maintain your technical knowledge in the preparation of technical proposals.
Sales and Marketing
Develop, build, and maintain relationships within assigned customer accounts
?Cold? calling to generate new customers in assigned territory or vertical market
Write scope and technical proposal, estimate via SOCC or Security Division Estimating software
Know our competition and fair market value for the work in territory. This may include union wages with supplemental benefits, State Prevailing Wage rates or Federal Davis Bacon wage rates. Information is used in managements final pricing decision and contingency planning
Final customer negotiation to close work including terms and conditions
Book the work into software programs ? if successful, and/or Final bid analysis with presentation to management if we are NOT successful with award
Schedule Kickoff meeting with Engineering and Operations for a smooth transition from Sales to construction. Kickoff meeting will consist of key customer contact, scope, schedule, financial review and contingency planning
Provide activity reports, lead tracking and forecasting reports on a monthly basis
Participate in regularly scheduled Sales Meetings
Represent the company in professional organizations which may lead to future sales
MINIMUM :
A minimum of 5 years work related experience in the Access Controls and/or CCTV industry, with at least 1 year of proven sales performance required. Experience estimating access controls or CCTV systems with a strong background in electronics, engineering or business is a must. In addition, must have solid organization skills, strong demonstration and presentation capabilities, and demonstrate effective sales skills.
Must be self-directed, goals oriented, and competitive.
