Accounting Supervisor Job Opening in Woonsocket, Rhode island - Northern Rhode Island manufacturer is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to join our team. The position reports to the General Manager. This is a hands-on position. Responsibilities include:
Oversee daily accounting operations; AP, AR, G/L functions.
Prepare journal entries for payroll, month end and account reconciliations
Prepare and monitor department budgets
Coordinate and complete year-end audits
Collect, analyze and summarize account information
Prepare timely monthly balance sheet, profit/loss statement; analyze financial results
Develop periodic reports for management
Account
Verifying the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records
Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
Requirements of the position are:
Bachelor's Degree with a Major in Accounting
2+ to 5yrs of accounting experience
Supervisor experience
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, accounting software
