Two Controllers Needed Job Opening in Brunswick, Maine - Finance Controllers Needed!
Two Positions- Brunswick and Wiscasset
PURPOSE OF POSITION : The Controller is a key financial position reporting directly to the Finance Director and is responsible for financial reporting functions in both Wiscasset and Brunswick, ME.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Safeguarding the Company Assets
Maintaining the Company?s books and records
Financial reporting, internally and externally
Supervising the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable functions and Payroll functions
Annual Budgets
Quarterly Forecasts
Working with external consultants in connection with Audits and Tax filings
Other duties as they arise.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE : A 4 year degree in Accounting or Finance is required, along with at least 5 years experience in a similar environment is desirable. CPA or CMA is a plus. Candidate should be experienced with ERP operating systems, preferably SAP. Candidate should be proficient with Microsoft Office Products including Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint & Word. Should have Cost Accounting Experience, and working knowledge of US Federal & Maine Income Taxes.
