Tax Manager Job Opening in Portland, Maine - Our company is growing and with growth comes opportunity. We are looking for an experienced tax manager who is CPA certified, has prior supervisory experience, is a team leader and a self starter. Primary duties include: reviewing C corporation, S corporation, LLC, partnership, fiduciary, exempt, and individual tax returns. Assisting in complex tax planning for closely held businesses and individual clients. Becoming an expert in the niche industries in which you work and providing management advisory and consulting services. Supervising, training, and evaluating team members. Leading client service teams and ensuring clients are pleased with our services, services are delivered timely and efficiently, and team members are developing. Communicating solutions to complex issues requiring creativity, research and understanding. Desired Skills and Experience: Five years of experience at a CPA firm, CPA certification, strong communication skills, strong client rapport and project management skills, willingness to train , evaluate and mentor staff, and the ability to handle multiple engagements. A Bachelor's degree including the academic courses sufficient for certification as a CPA required.
