Entry-Level Sales - Data Center/Colocation (Downtown) Job Opening in Albuquerque, New mexico - Data Center seeking an entry-level sales representative to join our Data Center/Colocation Team. The sales representative is responsible for prospecting, cold calling, cultivating partners, networking, and closing deals generated by these actions. We are looking for a talented, driven and confident individual who is eager to learn and is not afraid to take action.
Responsibilities
-Cold calling potential clients
-Schedule appointments and meetings with potential clients
-Provide potential clients with tours of our facilities, also visit client's own facilities to facilitate and nurture relationships
-Identify profitable business opportunities
-Promote and explain benefits of Data Center/Colocation services
-High level of self-initiative; sound judgement, and ability to work independently as well as with a team.
-Prepare and present formal proposals to executive levels of organizations
-Prepare formal proposals in response to RFPs
-Consult with potential customers to assess their business needs
-Identify and/or promote sales opportunities to existing customers
-Networking and Partner development
Job Qualifications
-Must have a desire to build a career in sales
-Ability to operate a computer
- General knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher etc. . . Salesforce a plus
-A combination of education and experience will be considered
-Prior experience in service oriented sales is preferred
-Ability to excel in a fast paced environment is required
-Experience with high volume cold calling is preferred
-Ability to be persuasive and influential in verbal and written communications
-Ability to meet strict sales goals and deadlines while exceeding in a competitive selling environment
-Great charisma and a pro-active personality
-Outstanding communication, organizational and time management skills
-Must have a valid driver's license and pass background check.
