Accounts Receivable Consultant - SNF Job Opening in Newport Beach, California - Generations Healthcare, a company who owns skilled nursing facilities throughout California, is looking for a Regional Accounts Receivable Consultant to support 4-6 facilities? business offices in Southern California (primarily in Los Angeles County, Orange County and Inland Empire but possibly including 1-2 from San Diego County).
The regional AR Consultant?s responsibilities include:
Provide support, coaching and strategic guidance to Business Office Managers, Bookkeepers and other office staff
Review agings of assigned facilities on a monthly basis and collaborate with Business Office personnel to resolve difficult issues.
Create monthly report for Senior Management and Office staff regarding your analysis of the aging and a plan for collection and continued improvement.
Create other reports as needed for AR Manager and Accounting.
Review and approve bad debt requests
Assist in recruitment, selection and performance management process for Business Office Manager and other staff as necessary.
Assist in resolution of issues related to Monthly Close, GL and Cash.
About 40-50% travel (includes visiting each assigned facility every month along with attending other meetings)
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years experience as a Business Office Manager in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
Minimum 2 years experience as an Accounts Receivable Consultant or equivalent supervisory position for Business Offices of Skilled Nursing Facilities.
Thorough knowledge of regulations and laws related to billing, reimbursement and government and insurance programs.
Must have experience billing SNF claims for Medicare A & B, Medi-Cal, Managed Care Medi-Cal, HMO and Private.

Proven ability to manage and develop personnel in their individual roles to help them achieve success individually and as a team.
