Automotive Sales Consultant Job Opening in Millington, Michigan - As a McDonald Chevrolet Auto Sales Representative you will interact and consult with customers to guide them through their vehicle purchase. Your goal is to create the best vehicle-buying experience to make lifelong customers. You will assist customers in selecting the right vehicle for their lifestyle. You will be trained on the specific products we offer and their benefit to our customer.
Responsibilities:
Spend time with customers to determine their needs and discusses vehicle options
Commit to becoming an auto sales expert and gain in-depth knowledge of vehicle inventory and technology
Facilitate customer test drives to demonstrate industry leading features
Complete quotes and explain financing options
Ensure timely follow up with prospective customers and return email / voice mail
Follow up with all existing customers to confirm their satisfaction, maintain strong relationships and generate leads
Present vehicle attributes, model options, features, purchase and finance options and store policies and services to customers.
Track customers using store specific management system/s.
Keep abreast of new products, features and accessories. Attend product and training courses.
Build and maintain current sales pricing and manufacturer promotions.
Prepare vehicles for customer pickup.
Maintain appearance and cleanliness of store showroom and vehicle lot.
Ensure customers understand the vehicle's operating features and warranty
Requirements - Ideal Candidate will possess:
A strong desire to succeed and a strong work ethic
Previous automotive sales
Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships
Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software and internet proficiency
Excellent appearance, verbal/written communication, strong negotiation and presentation skills
Ability to ask for the sale and follow through to close
Valid U.S. Driver's license
Ability to pass pre-employment background check, drug test, and DMV screening with clean driving record
