Accounting Supervisor Job Opening in Durham, New hampshire - One of our valued clients is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to add to their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and will work well in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Participate with monthly, quarterly and year end close
Maintain strong understanding of financial reports and general ledger
Manage reporting of monthly financial statements and budget vs actual analysis
Assist with daily banking requirements
Manage the processing of pay transactions
Maintain monthly and quarterly bank compliance activities
Assist with budget and forecasting activities
Works closely with other finance executives to support company initiatives
Works to improve accounting procedures to ensure a high level of accuracy
Manages control system for accounting transactions
Reports financial results to company executives
Assist with year end audit
Manager the general ledger group
Assist with development and implementation of new accounting procedures
Provide training and coaching to direct reports
Requirements:
Bachelor's in accounting and finance
CPA is a plus
At least three years of supervisory experience with financial reporting and general ledger
Knowledge of Sage and /or Netsuite a plus
Must proficient with Excel
Must possess strong communication skills
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
