Outside Sales Representatives are responsible to prospect and generate new business to the markets listed above. This position requires cold calling on Governmental accounts in the field to generate new permanent sales.

Position Title: Sales Account Manager - NC & SC Market
Basic Function: Effectively sell multi-channel digital recording, Presentation Systems, Agenda Management ? Live Steam and Web Hosting systems, Digital Sound Systems, Video Conferencing, BIS Enterprise Room Control Systems, Assisted Listening Devices, 911 Call Logging systems and other related products to our target markets.
Skills: Successful candidate should have outstanding communication (verbal and written), an understanding and solid consultative sales process; prospecting, setting appointments, presentations / demonstrations, closing skills and detailed follow up activities. One must develop a detailed understanding of our products, solutions and services. Candidate should also be comfortable with solutions sales and conversational marketing to target markets; Federal, Supreme and State Court officials, County and City Government officials, Public Safety and Law Enforcement officials, IT Directors, Purchasing Departments, Administration, C-Level Executives, and other business Executives and Managers. Also, a background in selling to the legal market is a plus. Proficient with Microsoft office products and other business automation is necessary.
Requirements: The successful sales professional will be highly motivated, have a proven track record of established sales success and demonstration an active consultative sales process. Candidate must be highly motivated to build ongoing relationships with customers and to educate the customer base with current products, solutions and services. Active and ongoing prospecting within the territory along with Cold calling is also an integral part of the position. Strong detailed sales follow-up, closing and pipeline/funnel reporting is a must. Salesforce record keeping is a must. Travel, as necessary, to cover sales territory responsibilities along with overnight stays will be expected.
Responsibilities:
Achieve and exceed sales activity, demonstrations, and assigned objectives and financial sales quota; monthly, quarterly and yearly.
Activity demonstrates the consultative sales process / cycle: prospecting, qualifying, presenting, creating proposals, closing and follow up. To provide product for end-users, coordinate and communicate with BIS resources to satisfy any outstanding prospect/customer requirements. Follow-up with assigned business and leads; report and track in Salesforce database.
Participate in State and local trade shows.
Participate in product and sales training opportunities as assigned.
Complete other assigned tasks as appropriate.
Reporting: This position reports to the Regional Sales Manager. This position will also function in a team-oriented environment. The position will be required to house and work out of a mobile office within the territory.
BIS Sales Representative Compensation Overview
Car allowance - $275.00 Monthly
Business Expenses paid with Company AMEX; travel ? hotel - gas - meals (per company policy)
Commission program -
BIS sales representatives are expected to sell a minimum of $400,000 annually.
Our sales representatives are expected to earn over $65,000 with uncapped commission.

Holidays
It is the policy of the company to observe 10 holidays each year. Employees will be given a day with pay for each holiday observed.
Personal Days
It is the policy of the company to provide all newly hired full-time employees with 1 personal day that calendar year. Each year thereafter, an additional personal day is earned on January 1st (up to 5 days annually).
Vacation
It is the policy of the company to grant annual vacations to all full-time, active employees with pay. Employees will accrue 5/12 of a day paid vacation for every month worked during the 1st year of employment. Beginning in the second year of employment paid vacation is earned at a rate of 10/12 of a day paid vacation for every month worked. Vacation days are not cumulative and normally must be taken in the year in which they are earned.
Health Care
It is the policy of the company to offer each full-time, active employee the opportunity to become a participant in our health care insurance plan. Coverage now begins 90 days from date of hire and there is a $200 monthly employee deduction to participate. Please refer to HR for exact details or our current Health care insurance.
