Chief Financial Officer Job Opening in Denver, Colorado - Introduction
The board of directors of Phoenix Life Sciences is seeking to recruit an outstanding Chief Financial Officer to join the organization and board of the company. The ideal candidate has already proven their success by being part of a team of executives that have successfully capitalized, built and organization and achieved exit through IPO, trade sale or sale to private equity.
Phoenix Life Sciences is focused on key investments in pharmaceutical production and distribution ion cannabis based therapeutics on a global basis.
Phoenix's strategy is to raise, manage and deploy capital to fund a roll out of manufacturing and distribution pharmacies across the United States and in various international locations. In addition, Phoenix intends commence clinical studies to bring its products forward for FDA/TGA and EMA approval.
By partnering and acquiring clinical sales organizations along with building Phoenix's organization, we intend to maximize the revenue streams and product placement.
Phoenix is actively seeking a suitably qualified candidate for the position as Chief Financial Officer. The successful candidate will be offered the role as group CFO, and will be invited to join the board of directors.
Responsibilities
Leading member of the capital raising team
Oversight of all financial affairs of the group of companies
Working with the Chief Investment Officer and Chief Executive Officer on Investment Strategy
Monthly Financial Reporting to Departments and Board of Directors
Quarterly and Annual regulatory reports including SEC reporting
Structuring and financing the projects of the group
Building of the accounting and finance teams for the group
Working with Broker Dealers and placement firms for capital management
Working with asset managers to maximize return on deployed and non-deployed capital
Remuneration
Base salary $180,000-$240,000
Quarterly and Annual Bonuses

The Successful Candidate MUST
be fun and an energetic part of the team
have been part of a successful roll-up or roll-out strategy
be personally financially sound, with a successful portfolio and perfect credit
have been successful in a trade sale, IPO or sale to private equity
have managed a portfolio in excess of $100M
have a network of trusted advisors and service providers, such as tax attorneys, auditors, etc
be able to travel quarterly, internationally or domestically
be ready to work for 5 years to successfully build and exit
be ready for their first, second or third retirement
