PRIMARY PURPOSE
Ensure the proper accounting for all vehicle inventories and sales transactions, including entries resulting from sales.
JOB DELIVERABLES
To provide a consistently outstanding brand and customer experience through consistently outstanding preparation, attitude, and teamwork.
The Mercedes-Benz Manhattan Vehicle Analyst is responsible for posting of New & Pre-Owned (retail & wholesale) sales transactions from Advent into CDK.
Accounting for sold vehicle accessories/add-ons (Warranty, Accessories, Dent, DuPont, Wheel & Tire, etc.) and maintaining the related accounting schedules.
Monitoring Cash on Delivery / Contracts in Transit / Customer Deposits
Accounting for all market support entries and schedule maintenance.
The Mercedes-Benz Manhattan Vehicle Analyst is responsible for mMaintaining New & Pre-Owned Inventory schedules (including ensuring proper treatment of Repair Orders, Lesser of Cost or Market calculation, etc.)
Proper of inventory (i.e. Customer Vehicle Program units, Demos, etc.)
Review physical inventory and reconcile to accounting records
Provide support to the Sales team
Complete ad-hoc projects as directed by Supervisor or Manager
Qualifications
Bachelor?s college degree (preferably in Accounting) or equivalent work experience
Must have 1-2 year (total) of experience in Accounting
Proficiency in Advent (sales system) and CDK (accounting system)
Highline automotive industry accounting experience a plus
Proficiency with computer systems (i.e. MS Excel) and ability to learn new programs
General Knowledge of business processes and internal controls.
Must be able to work flexible hours/work schedule
Must be able to commute to and from dealership in Manhattan, NYC.
Work Holidays/Weekends when required
