Position Description
The Outside Sales Associate will be responsible for networking and developing relationships with potential small to mid-sized merchants in the assigned geographic area. The Outside Sales Associate will be expected to obtain current payment processing statements for purpose of analysis and proposal by our Sales Operations team. A typical day would include preliminary meetings with potential merchants and attending networking events. It is preferred that the Outside Sales Associate live in the Knoxville, TN area. This position will be remotely based in a home office with frequent travel within the assigned geographic areas. The Outside Sales Associate should meet the following requirements:
Minimum of 3 years experience in outside business to business (B2B) sales with small to mid-sized companies
Outside sales experience in the merchant services or payment industry preferred, but not required
Ability to work remotely from home
Travel of 50% is required (mostly day trips)
Positive, professional attitude
Enthusiasm and drive to get the job done
Self-directed and goal-oriented
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Salary - Base plus commission salary structure. Commission structure includes a 10% ongoing residual trail on all active customers as well as a 3X?s monthly profit bonus for each new account signed. A successful Outside Sales Representative can expect to earn between $65,000 and $90,000 annually, with salary growth expected year over year due to residual trail bonuses. Reimbursement for reasonable travel and entertainment expenses will also be provided.
