Staff Accountant Job Opening in Hackettstown, New jersey - Rudolph Research Analytical, a leading analytical laboratory instrument supplier, manufacturing precision quality bench top instruments for the Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Petroleum, Petro-Chemical, Food and Beverage industries, is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant able to comfortably multitask with a full understanding of critical accounting functions, including Accounts Receivable, Cash Posting, Accounts Payable & Payroll.
Rudolph Research Analytical, a $14 million, 65 person, manufacturing company located in Hackettstown, New Jersey, is seeking a local person to fill this role and who will take charge of the following responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable, invoicing and timely collections
Cash Posting, accurate and timely posting of incoming funds
Accounts Payable, aging and timely payments
Payroll, audit and perform bi-weekly functions
Monthly Bank Reconciliations
Monthly Journal Entries
Ensure that required debt and lease payments are made on time
Interact with Senior Accountant and Controller on a regular basis
Assist with Month End Close and Annual Audit
Qualified Candidates for the Staff Accountant role should possess:
A Bachelor?s degree in Accounting
3 to 5+ years? experience in an Accounting Department
Superior Math skills and knowledge of the accounting cycle
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Experience with ERP accounting software, SAP B1 experience a plus
Experience with ADP Workforce Now ® a plus
Experience in a manufacturing setting a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Total compensation range for the Senior Accountant role is $45,000 - $55,000 dependent upon experience, with medical and dental benefits and 401k.
