Job Title: Java Software Engineer Job Summary
This position is for a developer on the audio recordings team. This will involve the development of a new tool that allows members throughout the world to create audio recordings of various publications in their native language.
Qualifications
5 or more years of Java experience.
Bachelor?s degree or equivalent engineering experience
Strong software development background
CSS, HTML5, Angular
Java API and RESTful web services
Angular experience.
Spring and JPA experience
Docker
Database query experience (SQL)
Ability to work well in an agile/scrum environment.
Responsibilities
This person will take tasks assigned and complete them over the sprint. They will work with QA to make sure their tasks are complete and working as expected.
Candidate will need to work from time to time with the database engineer when there are requirements that need changes to the database structure.
Candidate will work with the users of the site to diagnose and resolve any bugs found in the system.
