You are available to be on call at night and on weekends (note: you will be paid for on call times)
You possess strong communication skills with business partners
You are eligible to work in the US, and can work W2 (1099 corp-to-corp is not available for this position)
You have at least 6 years of experience with SQL Server 2008, 2012 and higher
You can work on-site in Atlanta 5 days a week
The DBA will be part of a dynamic team of full stack developers working on a highly visible project at one of the largest retailers in the world. The DBA will assist the development team with expertise in the best practices for SSIS packagetuning, index creation, table partitioning and other typical tasks (debugging database performance, creating tables, data retention policies, etc).
A proficiency in SQL is required. Some knowledge of running SQL Server on VMWare is a big plus. Other requirements include a strong understanding of performance tuning SSIS packages and stored procedures. At least 6 years of experience with SQL Server 2008, 2012 and higher is required. Some experience with Oracle and VM Server troubleshooting is a plus!
This job is in Atlanta and requires an in-person face-to-face interview. The candidate must also be able to do W2. 1099 corp-to-corp is not available for this position.
