Structured Finance Industry Group, Inc. (?SFIG?) is a member-based, trade industry advocacy group focused on improving and strengthening the broader structured finance and securitization market. SFIG provides an inclusive network for securitization professionals to collaborate and, as industry leaders, drive necessary changes, be an advocate for the securitization community, share best practices and innovative ideas, and educate industry members through conferences and other programs. Members of SFIG represent all sectors of the securitization market including issuers, investors, financial intermediaries, law firms, accounting firms, technology firms, rating agencies, servicers, and trustees. Formed in March 2013, our institutional membership totals approximately 350 members, represented by a Board of Directors totaling 42 members selected from all membership constituencies. Additional leadership is provided by an executive committee, including Officers of the Board of Directors, select Board members and the Executive Director.
While the Membership of SFIG is geographically diverse, with a concentration in New York, the operational headquarters are based in Washington, DC ? close to the majority of SFIG?s regulatory and legislative audiences.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Events Analyst will be an integral member of the SFIG Conference and Education team. The Events Analyst is responsible for supporting the Conference and Education team in the execution of events that augment SFIG?s education mandate, including SFIG conferences and symposia, SFIG?s WiS (Women in Securitization) program, the SFIG Industry Dinner, and various other SFIG Programs.
Responsibilities would include:
Working with SFIG?s Conference and Education team to actualize events that align with SFIG?s strategy and goals
Support of all event logistics throughout the pre-event, event, and post-event phases of planning
Assist Marketing Manager with development and execution of all event collateral, including nametags, agendas, signage, promotional items, etc.
Coordinate with SFIG Directors on production of policy-related materials for events
Lead registration review process for all events and be primary contact for general event-related questions from attendees

Ability to prioritize assignments and organize multiple projects and duties simultaneously while meeting deadlines;
An ability to work effectively as a member of a team;

Professional, courteous inter-departmental and external communication skills;
Strong computer skills with familiarity with Microsoft Office, email clients, Internet research, event registration software, database systems, and social networking tools;
Flexibility with respect to schedule and working hours.
PROFESSIONAL

Exemplary analytical, writing, verbal and interpersonal communications skills;
Ability to develop work plans, set deadlines, work well with minimal supervision, prioritize assignments, and organize multiple projects and duties simultaneously while meeting deadlines;
Ability to work effectively as a member of a team; know when to act independently and when to consult for advice on decision-making;
A willingness to carry out a wide range of activities, including both professional and logistical tasks;
Strong computer skills with familiarity with Mac OS, Microsoft Office, email clients, Internet research, event registration software, database systems, and social networking tools;
Flexibility with respect to schedule, working hours, and work assignments, including ability to work overtime or on weekends when necessary.
Specific Requirements:
At least 1 year experience in events management or a similar events-related role, preferable working in a finance-related role;
Excellent writing and communication skills and experience presenting complex information in a variety of formats and styles for different audiences;
Strong critical thinking, organizational, and administrative skills, with keen attention to detail.
EDUCATION
An undergraduate degree is required.
