As one of the nation?s largest single-source providers of lighting and electrical products, electrical services, electrical construction, and energy management solutions, Facility Solutions Group is expanding their staff and seeking a Lighting Distributor/ESCO Inside Sales Representative to join the FSG Utility Services Perth Amboy, NJ team.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Lighting Distributor/ESCO Inside Sales Representative you will be responsible for providing excellent communication and execution for all areas of the distribution and sales cycle. The ideal candidate will be able to execute and communicate timelines and progress with internal and external clients effectively. We are seeking candidates with experience in the lighting industry who are self-motivated, detailed oriented and highly organized to join our team.
A Lighting Distributor/ESCO Inside Sales Representative will:
Provide Quotes
Enter Orders into internal systems for processing and fulfillment
Expedite Incoming and Outgoing orders
Purchasing
Process customer and vendor material returns
Inventory management
Increase overall distribution cycle productivity
Interact with manufacturers and factory sales reps to produce competitive and timely pricing
Have a skilled level of lighting knowledge: Must have the existing ability to understand and communicate product attributes, functionality, and suitability for different applications
Review and maintain database of product certifications and eligibility for subsidies; EnergyStar, DLC, etc.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will satisfy the following requirements and qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree preferred but not required
Update and maintain all systems required
Act professionally and ethically at all times
Valid driver?s license
Ability to multitask while staying organized
Superior customer service skills
Positive, friendly, courteous, outgoing, and pleasant disposition
Strong Verbal and Written communication skills
Ability to analyze, interpret , and disseminate technical information
Familiarity with distribution industry practices (products, terms and conditions, etc.)
Ability to co-ordinate information between different stakeholder groups: project managers, customers, vendors, warehouse, accounts receivable, rebates, utilities, DLC, etc.
Previous experience working in lighting or electrical distribution field
Proficiency with technology and electronics strongly preferred
Self motivated and driven
