Accounting Project Analyst Job Opening in Columbus, Ohio - Elford, Inc. has an opening for an Accounting Project Analyst and if you have the right skill set and want to work for an employee-friendly local construction company this could be the opportunity for you! The perfect candidate for this position analyzes, reviews and documents the requirements of a project throughout its lifecycle. Helps the entire project team complete the project within its planned scope, schedule and budget, while serving as a liaison for the project's technical, functional and non-functional teams.
The key responsibilities of the position are:
Creates, manages and disburses reports related to the project as well as maintains related database(s)
Evaluates and monitors the overall project
Reviews and reports the project?s budget and finances
Routinely performs complete or component analysis
Notifies the entire project team about abnormalities or variances
Performs job closing functions to successfully audit, document, and finalize closed projects
Performs job audits on a regular schedule
Attends PSR (Project Status Report) meetings to ensure project status and data is loaded properly in the organizations? ERP system (CMiC) and verifies the forecast, revenue and reimbursables for each project are correct
Works with Project Management team to identify data changes needed and assist with execution of changes within CMiC
Processes monthly billings to Owners as needed
Maintains an accurate schedule of auto items and ensures they are billed appropriately to the owner
Requirements: Qualified candidate should possess a Bachelor?s Degree from an accredited university or equivalent with a minimum of five (5) years accounting experience as a Project Analyst. Construction industry experience preferred.
