Dallas bakery is looking for an experienced cake decorator/baker for FULL TIME employment. Looking for someone who has extensive knowledge in baking and decorating cakes. Someone who is dependable, hard working, creative, dedicated and passionate about cakes. It is important this person be an organized, multi-tasking cake decorator/baker. The right person should be able to communicate well with customers in understanding their vision, wants and needs. Principle duties and responsibilities include: - Baking and decorating cakes of all shapes and sizes, including tiered cakes - Handling cake consultations with ease and knowledge - Set and achieve the highest standards in a retail environment - Work to ensure the highest quality products and service are available - Must be able to manage work load with minimal supervision and able to communicate when help is needed - Must be a leader, trustworthy and honest person, as well as a people person Working conditions: - Standing and walking for extended periods of time. - Bending and stooping - Unassisted heavy lifting Must: - Have experience baking in a professional kitchen - Extensive experience with fondant, buttercream frosting, tiered cakes, decorating with pastry bags - A portfolio of previous wedding cakes you've made that we can look at - Flexible and open schedule - Be available on weekends and holidays ***Send salary requirements. ***Please submit your resume to: dallas tx texas
